"Kitty Finds a Frog" Art Opening

This past weekend, I had the opening reception for my solo art exhibition, "Kitty Finds a Frog," over at The Plastic Club. The show features 28 watercolor illustrations from my upcoming Children's Book, also titled "Kitty Finds a Frog". Besides the original pieces, I also featured prints, notebooks, and tote bags to sell during the opening. I had a wonderful time showing friends, family, The Plastic Club community, and other visitors about my illustrations and my children's book.

The children's book this exhibition is based on is about a little girl named Kitty, who has a bad day, so her big brother, Eli, takes her to a local frog pond to cheer her up. In this exhibition I featured 28 out of the 36 illustrations I created, plus excerpts from the text alongside each illustration, to give viewers a sample of the story. The book is still in review for publication, but I will be announcing its release as soon as it's published.
