Around August 2022, I was hired on as the head printmaking monitor and teaching assistant for Haverford College's printmaking department. Since my workplace is a printmaking studio, I was allowed to complete my own printmaking work on my own time. The images in this post, are all illustrations I made as designs for prints. All of them were used for printmaking techniques called paper and computer lithography, except for the illustration on the bottom left, which was used for etching. Currently, I am still working with the etching plate, but once I am finished I might consider moving on to various monotype techniques, such as erasure or stencils.
I have not posted any of these prints on my website/blog yet, only the designs for the plates. However, I am planning on posting some of them soon, once I edit them in my own studio. Some of the prints I might show in a a future exhibition, but most of them I am planning on selling along with my notebooks and maybe stickers or digital prints. I am very excited to be showing my new prints off, and the progress I have made as a printmaker!
